Merry Christmas...

avec cette magnifique carte, trouvée par hasard sur facebook ( via Chip Deffaa ), accompagnée de ce texte :
Here's a Christmas card that the fabulous Nicholas Brothers made and sent out, about 60 years ago. Harold Nicholas (1921-2000) and Fayard Nicholas (1914-2006) were two of the greatest tap dancers and acrobatic "flash dancers" who've ever lived. (Fred Astaire once said that their dancing in the film "Stormy Weather" was the best he'd ever seen on screen.) From time to time, there's been talk in Hollywood of making a movie about them--but finding performers to portray them, and recreate their sensational routines, poses huge challenges. I liked speaking with Harold Nicholas. I never got to meet Fayard Nicholas. (But it made me happy that Joe Franklin went to visit him, at the retirement home in California where he was living, before he passed.)
